Fill it out early to get staff/contractors that buy these products to attend a 1-2 hr Buy Green Ordinance Scavenger Hunt (optional). They need to find LIMITED USE and PROHIBITED products your team is ready to replace with REQUIRED or SUGGESTED green products. This event is best for staff and contractors that request or approve products or services. Over 100 City staff recommended last year's consultation and thought it was entertaining.
-
"...Energetic, insightful and entertaining."- Patti Martin, Dept. Personnel Officer, SFDHR.
- "I thought the presentation was great. Although I didn't want to go and was afraid it would be a waste of time, I actually did learn some very good things that I can use both in the office and at home. I was surprised and disappointed...some staff are not compliant with the City's efforts to...conserve our resources... These efforts actually can save City financial resources which in turn could save jobs, perhaps their own. In this day and age, it is simply silly to be wasteful."-Priscilla Morse, Director of Worker's Compensation, SFDHR
Depts. that got the highest scores for 2010.
