Foodware
Whenever possible, use reusable foodware such as ceramic plates, cups or metal utensils. If San Francisco City staff must buy disposable food service ware, these products must be compostable or recyclable in San Francisco. Polystyrene foam disposable foodware is prohibited City-wide by all food service establishments, including all City departments and City contractors and lessees.
