Microfiber cloths, dusters, mops
Save Time, Money & the Environment With Microfibers
The unique texture of microfiber fabric attracts debris. You can try cleaning surfaces such as glass with water and no chemicals. Compared to cotton string mops, microfiber mops:
- Clean 10% more space in less time & reduce the risk of back problems because the mop is lighter and pivots so it is easier to maneuver. You may not need a bucket because cleaning chemicals can be applied to the floor or mop. Mop heads can be detached and laundered. UC Davis Medical Center saved 638 hours per year for each worker, or about $7,665 in wages.
- Use 95% less cleaning chemicals (2.5 oz. vs. 53 oz. per 100 rooms cleaned).
- Last 5 to 10 times longer.
- Cost about 5-10% less overall
- Use 95% less water (5 gals vs. 105 gals per 100 rooms cleaned)
- Eliminate need to wring the mop.
“We switched to microfiber mops because they can reduce workers’ compensation claims. And, they save money because they can be laundered up to 500 times compared to string mops, which can only be laundered a few times.”
-Johnson Gong, San Francisco General Hospital
“In all the years I’ve been in this business, my staff thanked me for the first time because I cared enough about them to get microfiber mops.”
-Martin Escalante, San Francisco Unified School District
